SDA Student Paper Awards
Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award
SDA presents an award for the best sole-authored graduate student paper delivered at the annual meeting. The
winning student receives a $100 cash prize and a certificate.
Everett S. Lee Undergraduate Paper Award
SDA also presents a $100 cash prize and a certificate for the best sole-authored undergraduate paper presented at the meeting.
Winners receive prizes and certificates at the annual business meeting. Papers
can be from any discipline but must be of interest to demographers. To enter either competition, send manuscripts by Sep 15, 2007 to Prof. Stephanie Bohon
(sbohon@utk.edu), including your name, school, and email address. Also
indicate whether you should be considered for the graduate or undergraduate
award. Submissions to Prof. Bohon should only be done after the paper has
been accepted on the conference program: an abstract must be submitted through the SDA web site first. (The deadline for abstracts is June 30th.)
Papers must be sole-authored, and cannot exceed 25 pages in length, inclusive of tables,
charts, and works cited.
